Home based with travel required (predominantly South West and Wales)
Up to £40,000 basic plus benefits and expenses

A client facing role, you will require a good knowledge of Employee Benefits, but more importantly outstanding presentation skills!

Our client seeks an individual who is excellent at producing and delivering influential presentations to Employee Benefits clients and their employees.

You will work closely with the relevant Corporate Financial Planners and Desktop Consultants to develop a strategy to develop new business opportunities, generate and maintain relationships.

Whilst a good knowledge of the Employee Benefits sector is advantageous, a proven track record of delivering clear and concise presentations to groups is a must!

The is a home-based role with travel to client premises.

The Role

  • Create, build, and deliver approved presentations to employee benefit clients and build long term relationships through quality of presentation skills and influence
  • Arrange and attend meetings with clients
  • Stay up to date with employee benefit trends in the industry, monitor market developments and assist with the identification of revenue generation opportunities for existing clients
  • Provide initial Group Employee Pension information, workplace presentations to clients and employees, both face to face and virtually (using Microsoft Teams)
  • Provide Pension guidance presentations to employees
  • Ensure presentation data is up to date with employee benefits and industry trends
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with clients and their employees
  • Identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling based on understanding client needs
  • Ensure that all communications with clients are documented and recorded on the client file on our back-office
  • Ensure presentations are completed to high company standards and that sufficient client leads are obtained and referred to the appropriate adviser
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is maintained and kept up to date
  • Conducting research, analysing and presenting the results
  • Writing/drafting reports and member communications
  • Keep up to date with all relevant products, legislative or technical changes

About You:

  • Time spent in a similar role presenting to groups and converting delegates to leads
  • Demonstrable high level of competence, providing technical presentations to clients
  • Proven competency in coaching and engaging with people
  • High level of interpersonal skills at a group and individual level
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including strong Word and Excel skills
  • Able to work from home effectively and efficiently
  • Good diary and territory management
  • Ideally understand Financial Services and experience of Employee Benefit client services
