£30000 - £35000 plus benefits

With an office in London, this company have been established for more than 10 years and they provide high calibre investment, pensions, and risk advice to discerning clients across London and the South-East.

Expectations
 
  • You will have a wealth of IFA administration experience and in-depth knowledge of the Intelligent Office system. You will be able to work within a team but can self-motivate. You will have a strong skillset in Microsoft Office, especially excel, have excellent attention to detail and be inquisitive.
  • You will be communicating with clients and product providers, so strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial as well as excellent punctuality
  • You will have at least 5-years’ experience delivering financial services administration support within an IFA practice.
  • You will have current knowledge, preferably at high level, of Intelligent Office, including new business, servicing, and potentially fee/commission processing. You will know how to use standard templates and to use Tasks to provide an audit trail.
  • You will have knowledge of how Discretionary Fund Managers work with IFA’s and have also used the Transact and Aegon ARC systems, or similar.
  • You will have good knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and ideally have passed RO1.
 
What Will You Be Doing?
 
  • The key function of the role is to deliver a proactive and efficient support service to directors and consultants of the Wealth Management clients and assist our Employee Benefits division with pension administration.
  • You will be involved in new business and servicing administration as well as general administration and special projects. You will be given direct responsibility for aspects of the administration and will be expected to manage these tasks appropriately.
  • To assist the office manager with the development and implementation of changes to administration procedures to enhance efficiencies and to continually consider improving procedures and processes.
  • You will attend relevant internally and externally arranged meetings and courses and provide feedback after the event, including how benefits / changes can be implemented on a day-to-day basis.
  • You will be contributing to the development of the team and the business in general through suggestions, feedback, and involvement in team meetings.
  • You will ensure back-office records are accurately maintained and updated as changes occur or are advised. You will help your colleagues during periods of sickness or increased workloads and during their holiday.
  • You may be required to process commission and fee statements and raise invoices within I.O. so should preferably have experience in this area.
