Paraplanner, Edinburgh (NT-1925)

£32000 - £38000 DoE plus benefits
We have an excellent opportunity to join this well respected, leading Financial Planning firm.  We are flexible about our approach to filling this role.  Whether you are an experienced qualified paraplanner, or have an ambition to become a Paraplanner and are working towards your exams.  
 
The company provide financial advice to both private and corporate clients, helping them navigate across the full spectrum of products. This includes retirement planning, investment planning, workplace pensions and various insurances.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
• Providing technical support to the Financial Advisers
• Research and preparation of client advice in conjunction with Financial Advisers
• Preparation of client reports / suitability letters
• Preparing client packs and paperwork prior to meetings
• Collating client information prior to review meetings
• Processing new business applications
• Ensuring advice provided is compliant and meets with our regulatory requirements
• Liaising with product providers to collate pension and investment information
• Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
• Liaising with other professionals, such as estate agents, solicitors and accountants
• Maintenance of client files and records on the system
• Will be required to attend client meetings as required alongside Financial Advisers and prepare minutes for each meeting
 
About you:
• Ambitious, well organised, professional and self-motivated
• IT literate, proficient with Word and Excel
• A team player who can work independently and under pressure 
• Enjoy work and have a cheerful disposition
• Have a commitment to the highest levels of client  professionalism. 
• Qualified or working towards Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4)
