We are delighted to represent this firm of Chartered Financial Planners who have an excellent reputation of investing and developing in its team. 

When not delivering first class advice to its personal and corporate clients, the company is busy giving back to its local community. They are proud to be supporting a number of charitable trusts and foundations. They are now looking for a Corporate Financial Planner to actively manage a portfolio of clients, providing excellent client service and spotting further opportunities through understanding the client’s needs. To work with the Team to deliver Auto Enrolment Workplace Pensions to new client introductions.
Full time with occasional travel.

The Role:
Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Ensure all clients receive the highest quality of customer service on an ongoing basis
  • Conduct virtual and telephone meetings with clients using the company process to identify clients’ needs
  • Spot opportunities for growth of revenue within current client bank
  • Actively manage all leads passed from the Employee Benefits team, Professional Introducers Wealth Management Financial Planners and Corporate Wealth Management with a view to successfully secure them as Clients
  • Develop the employer relationships (profile all senior management, client satisfaction, new opportunities in order to understand the client’s needs)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Corporate Financial Planners and Corporate
  • Client Executive team to ensure seamless client service
  • Attend and present at a number of planned focussed EB events during the year to attract new EB clients to the business
  • Manage and maintain accurate management information/data relating to the different client contact strategies (including return on investment for planned events)
  • Generate appropriate monthly reporting, information and statistics in the required format

Revenue and Business Development

  • Formulate and agree a business plan each year
  • Ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded
  • Identify new sales opportunities and take the appropriate steps to secure the business
  • Identify appropriate industry events to represent the business and seek new opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a contract strategy based on various communication methods, i.e. virtual meetings/telephone calls/emails and networking
  • Work closely with all colleagues, build relationships to maximise new business opportunities
  • Liaise with our key partners to produce campaigns via mail shots, e-shots and the website to generate new business opportunities
  • Develop and deliver presentations to introducers and employees when required, outlining our proposition and service
  • Understand all products within the employee benefits portfolio

About you:
Work Experience:

  • Proven successful track record in target driven environment
  • Previous experience of working as an Employee Benefits consultant
  • Demonstrable evidence of delivering successfully in a similar role
  • Proven experience of understanding clients’ needs and providing focussed solutions with successful results
  • Experience achieving/exceeding financial targets
  • Experience in carrying out presentations to large audiences

Essential:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Pension, Health, Risk & Wellbeing marketplace
  • Knowledge on auto-enrolment, Nest, workplace pensions and pension schemes
  • Ability to agree financial objectives and achieve/exceed them
  • Excellent inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills and can work as part of a wider team
  • Commitment to providing high level of customer service and has experience of building relationships at corporate events
  • A self-motivated individual who can generate leads and cultivate new client opportunities
  • Ability to agree financial objectives and achieve/exceed them
  • Excellent commercial awareness and industry knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages; Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
