We are delighted to represent this firm of Chartered Financial Planners seeking a Corporate Financial Planner to join the Employee Benefits Team.
 
Role Overview
To actively manage a portfolio of clients, providing excellent client service and spotting further opportunities through understanding  your client’s needs.
To work with the Team to deliver Auto Enrolment Workplace Pensions to new client introductions.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients , new and existing introducers
  • Ensure all clients receive the highest quality of customer service on an ongoing basis;
  • Conduct virtual and telephone meetings with clients using the company process to identify clients’ needs;
  • Spot opportunities for growth of revenue within current client bank, specifically; Up selling and cross selling within EB e.g. Pensions/HRW, selling additional services such as Member Charging, guidance days, Employee education seminar,  Pension Scheme Governance and Benefit Platform
  • Formulate and agree a business plan each year
  • Ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded each month, quarter and year
  • Identify and maximise new sales opportunities and take the appropriate steps to secure the business
  • Identify appropriate industry events to represent the business and seek new business opportunities;
  • Develop and maintain a contract strategy based on various communication methods, i.e. virtual meetings/telephone calls/emails and networking
  • Develop and deliver presentations to introducers and employees when required, outlining  the firms proposition and service
  • Manage activity and administration to demonstrate best practice that will meet or exceed regulatory requirements
About You
  • Proven successful track record in target driven environment
  • Previous experience of working as an Employee Benefits consultant 
  • Demonstrable evidence of delivering successfully in a similar role
  • Proven experience of understanding clients’ needs and providing focussed solutions with successful results
  • Experience in developing relationships within the Employee Benefits arena
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Pension ,Health, Risk & Wellbeing marketplace, products  and service 
  • Excellent inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills and has the ability to work as part of a wider team
  • Commitment to providing high level of customer service and has experience of building relationships at corporate events
  • A self-motivated individual who has the ability to generate leads and cultivate new client opportunities
  • Commercially focused
  • Diploma and Group Risk qualifications desirable
