Join this awesome firm of Financial Planners as they look to bring on an experienced Paraplanner to the business.
 
This holistic Financial Planning firm believe in doing things differently. They offer a comprehensive planning and advisory service to their clients and they are now looking to strengthen their support team with the addition of an experienced paraplanner to join this busy friendly office.
 
In this role you will be responsible for providing excellent service to the Financial Planners, by producing quality documents which provide clear advice to the client, based on solid market research and the client’s financial objectives.
 
The Role:
 
  • To assist the Financial Planner in formulating the advice to the client, providing technical support and guidance where appropriate
  • Review client objectives ensuring they are clear, concise and achievable when compared against the client’s financial circumstance
  • Provide research and analysis of investment funds and financial products, whilst considering the client objectives. Conduct fund research 
  • Review asset allocation for any investment/pension holdings
  • Prepare Financial Plans, clearly outlining the client’s current position, where they need to be and how they will get there
  • Preparation of fund switch and encashment letters according to advice provided
  • Liaise with Product Providers / Third Parties regarding any technical queries
 
About You
 
  • Three to four years or more experience of working in a similar role
  • Practical application of technical financial knowledge
  • Previous data research and report writing experience within a Financial Planning firm
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, or similar tools
  • Highly professional mindset with a proven approach to customer service and proud to deliver the best solutions for the clients
  • Flexible and proactive approach to getting the job done
  • A strong team player who enjoys learning and developing

Skills & Qualifications:
 
  • Fully Diploma qualified
  • Good understanding of the Financial Planning process
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal communication
  • Customer service skills – providing an excellent service to the adviser and client
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively to deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail to balance demands of role
